Hi, I'm Caitlin Cassidy. I'm newly 30 and live in Dallas, TX with a cat named Mallory Pancakes. Not married, no kids, and zero interest in either. So don't worry... this isn't a mommy blog. Or if you're into that, I apologize.

I an extreme introvert, but I go hard on a few specific interests. Writing tops them all. I don't like leaving the house, so I'm a firm believer in "go hard or go home... AT home." Writing Workshops Dallas gave me the idea to make this, and Facebook brought me to Writing Workshops Dallas. That's probably the best thing Facebook has done for me. But let's be real here - Facebook is not a serious place for writing. Or a serious place for any seriousness. I'm cutting the umbilical cord. It is time.

I plan to post little pieces of my world. Short stories will pop up here and there. I want to get published someday (who wouldn't?).

It's gonna be hard. And long. I'll get there.

This was boring but necessary. Hopefully the most boring thing I will post.

We're in what I hope is the middle of the pandemic (God, I hope it's the middle and not still an excruciatingly drawn-out beginning.) I've decided it makes no sense to be afraid of the failure of not "making it" as a writer... because it's a part of the process.

I'm not the most or least talented person out there. But trying is highly underrated.

I have to finish up my life somehow.

Kids, it's all going by too fast.
